Alopexy, cutaneous solution, for hair loss, 50mg/ml, 60 ml

Indications:
Alopexy 50mg/ml, cutaneous solution
This medicine is recommended in certain cases of so-called androgenic alopecia (excessive hair loss) in men, of moderate intensity.
It is not recommended in women due to the increased frequency of hypertrichosis (abnormal hair growth).

Contraindications:
Do not use Alopexy:
- if you are allergic to the active substance (minoxidil) or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Alopexy, consult your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
The use of this medicine is not recommended in women.
Avoid using this medicine during pregnancy or breast-feeding.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.

Driving and using machines:
It is unlikely to have an effect.

How to use:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is 1 ml, applied twice a day to the area of the scalp to be treated.
The daily dose should not exceed 2 ml, regardless of the size of the area to be treated.

Frequency of application:
One application of 1 ml in the morning and 1 ml in the evening.
Do not increase the dose or the frequency of application.
In all cases, strictly adhere to the dose.

Duration of treatment:
The result is not immediately visible: the cessation of hair loss and/or the resumption of hair growth will only occur after a certain time has passed since the start of treatment. A two-month treatment with a frequency of two applications per day may be necessary before the stimulation of hair growth can be observed. The time lag and the degree of response vary from patient to patient.
If treatment is stopped, it is likely that the return to the initial state will occur within 3-4 months, depending on some observations.

Route of administration:
Cutaneous application. For external use.
Before and after applying the solution, wash your hands thoroughly.
Apply to perfectly dry hair and scalp.
Distribute the medicine with your fingertips over the entire surface to be treated, starting from the center of the area to be treated.

Do not apply the medicine to other parts of the body.
