BioNike Proxera Psomed 40 Intensive Exfoliating Gel – 100ml | 40% Urea Treatment for Psoriasis and Hyperkeratosis

Properties:
- topical medical device for the treatment of hyperkeratosis, skin plaques and related symptoms (itching, erythema, eczema) in patients affected by skin and scalp psoriasis;
- contains urea in a high concentration (40%), in a suitably stabilized form, which is delivered to the skin through a carrier system, which functions as a skin exfoliating agent that also provides an important moisturizing and emollient effect.

How to use:
Apply the gel to the hyperkeratosis areas once or twice a day, or otherwise as recommended by your doctor, massaging gently until the product is absorbed. Wash your hands before and after applying the product. Do not use other topical products at the same time, unless your doctor or pharmacist recommends otherwise. The product can also be used on the scalp and, in this case, does not require subsequent washing. Do not use for more than 14 consecutive days. After this period, stop using for a few days before resuming. Use within three months of opening. Use in children and adolescents must be prescribed and supervised by a doctor.

Ingredients:
Urea 40%, gluconolactone, acido lattico, ceramide, agenti gelificanti, stabilizzanti, acqua demineralizzata q.b.a 100.

Precautions:
Do not use on other skin lesions. Do not touch your eyes immediately after using the product. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse them thoroughly. If you wear contact lenses, rinse your eyes, remove the lenses and clean them thoroughly. Do not use in case of a known allergy to any of the components of the product. Keep out of reach of children. Do not expose to sunlight or extreme temperatures. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 25°C. In case of accidental exposure of the product to temperatures above 25°C, ammonia may be formed. In this case, the product should not be used. If stored at temperatures below 10°C, the product may crystallize. The phenomenon can be reversed by placing the product at room temperature. Do not use after the expiration date. Do not use if the tube is damaged. For external use only. Adverse reactions: Topical use of urea, even in high concentrations, has rare, mild adverse reactions (rash, stinging, irritation and allergic contact dermatitis). In the event of adverse reactions such as persistent burning, blistering, redness, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
