Indications:
Diclac is used in the symptomatic treatment of:
- pain in localized forms of degenerative rheumatism, such as: arthrosis of small joints and the knee;
- muscle or osteoarticular pain of a traumatic nature (trauma of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints, such as: dislocations, sprains, bruises, low back pain);
- pain, inflammation and swelling in localized forms of non-articular rheumatism: tendonitis, bursitis, shoulder-hand syndrome and periarthritis.

Contraindications:
- Do not use Diclac:
- if you are allergic to diclofenac or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Diclac, consult your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
Pregnancy:
You should not use Diclac gel if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy, as it may harm the fetus or cause problems during delivery.
Do not use Diclac gel in the first 6 months of pregnancy unless your doctor considers it absolutely necessary.
Breastfeeding
You should not use Diclac gel if you are breast-feeding. If your doctor considers it absolutely necessary to use Diclac gel, it will not be applied to the breasts, large areas of the body and will not be used for long periods of time.

How to use:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults, adolescents and the elderly:
Diclac is administered externally, in a thin layer, in 2-3 applications per day, to the affected area.
To achieve cutaneous absorption of the gel, a light and prolonged massage is performed on the painful and/or inflamed area.
After each application, wash your hands carefully (except when the gel is used for arthrosis localized to the fingers).
Diclac can be applied in combination with iontophoresis. Diclac is applied to the negative pole (cathode), to promote the penetration of the gel into the skin.

In the case of soft tissue trauma or non-articular rheumatism, the gel should not be used for more than 14 days, and in the case of arthritis pain, for a period longer than 21 days except in strictly recommended cases.

If after 5 days of treatment you do not notice any improvement in pain, inflammation and swelling or they get worse, you should contact your doctor for advice.

Children:
Diclac is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age due to a lack of safety data

If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
