Diclofenac Cream 10 mg/g – Anti-Inflammatory Pain Relief, 30 g

Indications:
Diclofenac Terapia contains the active substance diclofenac, which belongs to the group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is specially designed to be absorbed into the skin by massage.
Diclofenac Terapia is used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation and swelling in painful conditions affecting the joints and muscles.

It can be used to treat the following conditions:
Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over:
- Joint and muscle injuries (e.g. sprains, dislocations, bruises, back pain, sports injuries).
- Tendinitis (e.g. lateral epicondylitis)
Adults only (aged 18 years and over):
- Mild arthritis of the knees or fingers

Contraindications:
Do not use Diclofenac Terapia:
- if you are allergic to diclofenac sodium, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen or acetylsalicylic acid or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before using Diclofenac Terapia.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Diclofenac Terapia should not be used during the last 3 months of pregnancy, as it may harm the unborn baby or cause problems during birth. Diclofenac Terapia should only be used on medical advice during the first 6 months of pregnancy and the dose should be kept as low and the duration of treatment as short as possible.

During breastfeeding, Diclofenac Terapia should only be used on medical advice, as diclofenac passes into breast milk in small amounts. However, Diclofenac Terapia should not be applied to the breasts by breastfeeding mothers, nor elsewhere on large areas of skin or for a longer period of time.

Driving and using machines:
Diclofenac Terapia has no influence on the ability to drive and use machines.

Method of administration:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over: - it is recommended to apply to the affected area 3 or 4 times a day and massage gently until completely absorbed. The amount required depends on the size of the painful area: 2 g - 4 g of cream (an amount that varies from the size of a cherry to that of a walnut) is sufficient to treat an area of approximately 400-800 cm². After application, it is mandatory to wash your hands unless they are the area to be treated.

The duration of treatment depends on the indications and the clinical response. In the case of soft tissue trauma or non-articular rheumatism, the cream should not be used for more than 14 days, only on the recommendation of a doctor. In the case of pain from arthritis (only adults over 18 years and the elderly), the duration of treatment is up to 21 days, unless otherwise recommended by a doctor.

When used without a doctor's recommendation for any of the above indications, patients should consult a doctor if after 7 days of treatment there is no improvement in symptoms or if they worsen.

Composition:
- The active substance is diclofenac sodium. One gram of cream contains diclofenac sodium 10 mg.
- The other ingredients are: cetostearyl alcohol, white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, polysorbate 80, trolamine, benzyl alcohol, purified water.
