Indications:
Dulcolax is a contact laxative. When administered orally, as a tablet, or rectally, as a suppository, it induces increased peristalsis by direct action on the colonic mucosa, usually resulting in a loose stool. The product is free of severe side effects.

All forms of constipation (in patients immobilized in bed; in the case of a change in diet or environment; due to digestive disorders); favoring evacuation when there is pain, as for example in the case of hemorrhoids; pre - and post - operative; preparation of the colon for endoscopic examinations.

Contraindications:
Do not use Dulcolax:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to bisacodyl or any of the other components of this medicine.

Grown ups :
Take 1-2 gastro-resistant tablets (5-10 mg bisacodyl) per day. Start with 1 dragee. The dose can be adjusted up to a maximum dose of 2 dragees to produce regular stools. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 2 dragees.

Children aged between 2 and 10 years:
Take 1 gastro-resistant tablet (5 mg bisacodyl) a day. You should not give Dulcolax to children 10 years of age or younger except on the recommendation of your child's doctor.
