Duofilm cutaneous solution for warts, 167 mg/ml + 167 mg/ml, 15 ml, Stada

Indications:
Duofilm is indicated for the local treatment of warts.
Duofilm is a medicine for external dermatological use.

Contraindications:
Do not use Duofilm:
- if you are allergic to salicylic acid, lactic acid or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Duofilm, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
There is no information on the safety of using Duofilm in pregnant women. The use of Duofilm is not recommended during pregnancy.
Substances in Duofilm may pass into breast milk. Breast-feeding is not recommended while using Duofilm.
If you are breastfeeding, do not use Duofilm in the breast area to prevent Duofilm solution from accidentally getting into the baby's mouth.

Driving and using machines:
Duofilm does not affect your ability to drive or use machines.

How to use:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

For external use only, on the skin.
For use in adults and children aged 2 years and over.

Adults and the elderly:
Duofilm should be applied directly to the wart once a day, preferably in the evening before going to bed. Be careful not to apply it to the healthy skin around the wart.

Use in children and adolescents:
Children under 12 years of age should be supervised by an adult.
Treatment with Duofilm is not recommended for children under 2 years of age.

Duofilm is not recommended for the treatment of warts or verrucas that cover an area of the body larger than 5 cm (approximately the size of a postage stamp).

The duration of treatment is determined by the severity of the condition, and may be up to 6-12 weeks.

Do not continue treatment for more than 12 weeks.

Composition:
- The active substances are: salicylic acid and lactic acid. One ml of cutaneous solution contains 167 mg of salicylic acid and 167 mg of lactic acid.
- The other excipients are: flexible collodion (contains pyroxylin, rosin, castor oil, ethyl alcohol, ether).
