Hepa-Merz Liver Detox & Encephalopathy Support – L-Ornithine-L-Aspartate, 30 Sachets

Indications:
Hepa-Merz granulate belongs to the group: liver therapy. Hepa-Merz granulate stimulates ammonia detoxification by increasing urea synthesis in the urea cycle. It helps in the extrahepatic detoxification of ammonia from tissues.

In the treatment of latent or manifest hepatic encephalopathy in diseases with insufficient liver detoxification activity (e.g. in liver cirrhosis) and their complications.

Contraindications:
Do not use Hepa-Merz:
Hypersensitivity to L-ornithine-L-aspartate or to any of the excipients.

Before using Hepa-Merz, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
Pregnancy:
The safety of Hepa-Merz granulate during pregnancy has not been established. If you are pregnant, you should only take Hepa-Merz granulate if prescribed by your doctor.
Breastfeeding:
It is not known whether the active substance in Hepa-Merz granulate passes into breast milk.
If you are breast-feeding, you should only take Hepa-Merz granulate if prescribed by your doctor.

Driving and using machines:
Due to the underlying condition, the ability to drive and use machines may be impaired during treatment with L-ornithine-L-aspartate.

How to take:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The contents of 1-2 sachets of Hepa-Merz granulate should be dissolved in a sufficient amount of liquid (e.g. a glass of water, tea or juice) and the resulting solution should be taken orally up to 3 times a day.
