Indications:
Nicorette Freshfruit is used in the treatment of nicotine addiction by satisfying the excessive demand for nicotine and the withdrawal symptoms that occur after quitting smoking:
- curing smoking addiction for smokers who want to quit smoking;
- helping smokers to temporarily abstain during periods when cigarette smoking is impossible or undesirable;
- helping smokers to reduce cigarette consumption who cannot or do not want to quit smoking.

Contraindications:
Do not use Nicorette Freshfruit:
- if you are allergic to nicotine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
- if you are pregnant or breastfeeding;
- if you do not smoke.

Precautions:
Use in children and adolescents
This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Pregnant and breast-feeding women are advised to use Nicorette Freshfruit medicated chewing gum only after consulting a doctor.
Smoking may harm the foetus or the infant and should be completely stopped.
Even at therapeutic doses, nicotine passes into breast milk in sufficient quantities to pose a risk to the infant.
Therefore, the use of Nicorette Freshfruit medicated chewing gum should be avoided during breast-feeding.

Driving and using machines:
Nicorette Freshfruit medicated chewing gum does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Which strength of Nicorette Freshfruit medicated chewing gum is recommended to use:
- Nicorette Freshfruit 2 mg medicated chewing gum if you smoke less than 20 cigarettes a day or smoke within 30 minutes of waking up;
- Nicorette Freshfruit 4 mg medicated chewing gum if you smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day or if you have not been able to quit smoking using Nicorette Freshfruit 2 mg.
Do not exceed the maximum dose.
