Indications:
Nurofen Cold and Flu is part of the group of nasal decongestant drugs for systemic use, sympathomimetic, combinations, used to relieve the unpleasant symptoms of flu and cold, such as nasal and sinus congestion, headache, fever, muscle and joint pain.
It contains ibuprofen, which is effective in relieving pain (analgesic drug), inflammation (anti-inflammatory drug) and lowering temperature in case of fever (antipyretic drug). The other active substance, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, rapidly reduces edema in the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract (decongestant drug).
The relief of flu and cold symptoms occurs rapidly, starting with decongestion of the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract, followed by reduction of fever and reduction of pain associated with flu and cold.
Contraindications:
Do not use Nurofen Cold & Flu:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of Nurofen Cold & Flu.
Precautions:

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
Do not take Nurofen Cold & Flu during the last three months of pregnancy. Avoid using Nurofen
Cold & Flu during the first 6 months of pregnancy, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
Nurofen Cold & Flu passes into breast milk, but can be used during breast-feeding if taken in the recommended dose and for the shortest possible time.
Nurofen Cold & Flu belongs to a group of medicines (NSAIDs) that may affect fertility in women. This effect is reversible when the medicine is stopped.
Driving and using machines:
Nurofen Cold & Flu generally has no adverse effects on the ability to drive or use machines. However, since at high doses, in individual cases, side effects such as tiredness, drowsiness, dizziness (reported as common) and visual disturbances (reported as uncommon) may occur, the ability to drive or use machines may be impaired.
How to take:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Adults and children over 12 years: the initial dose is 2 film-coated tablets, then 1 or 2 film-coated tablets at intervals of 4 - 6 hours depending on the needs.
Do not exceed the maximum dose of 6 Nurofen Cold and Flu 200mg/30 mg film-coated tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen, respectively 180 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride) per day.

Composition:
- The active substances are: ibuprofen and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. One film-coated tablet contains 200 mg ibuprofen and 30 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.
- The other ingredients are: core- microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, polyvidone, calcium phosphate, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, talc; film- Mastercote Yellow FA 0156 [containing industrial methylated spirit, purified water, hypromellose (E464), titanium dioxide (E171), quinoline yellow (E104), sunset yellow (E110)]; printing ink- Opacode S-1-277001 Black [containing Shellac, black iron oxide (E172), propylene glycol]
