Paduden Rapid Forte 400 mg – Fast Pain & Fever Relief, 10 Tablets

Indications:
Paduden Rapid Forte is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of:
- mild to moderate pain such as headache, migraine, toothache, dysmenorrhea, muscle pain, back pain, rheumatic pain,
- fever,
- fever and cold and flu symptoms.
For rheumatic pain, the medicine should only be used on the recommendation of a doctor.
Paduden Rapid Forte is indicated for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age and weighing at least 40 kg.

Contraindications:
Do not take Paduden Rapid Forte:
- if you are allergic to ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid or other painkillers, or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Paduden Rapid Forte.

Pregnancy, fertility and breast-feeding:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Do not take this medicine if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Avoid using this medicine in the first 6 months of pregnancy, unless your doctor has told you otherwise.
Ibuprofen and its breakdown products pass into breast milk only in small amounts.
This medicine can be taken during breast-feeding, provided it is used at the recommended dose and for the shortest possible time.
Paduden Rapid Forte belongs to a group of medicines that may impair fertility in women. This effect is reversible when treatment is stopped.

How to take:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

This medicine is for short-term use only. You should take the lowest dose for the shortest time necessary to relieve your symptoms.

Use in adults and adolescents weighing more than 40 kg (12 years and older):
- Take 1 tablet with water, up to three times a day, as needed.
- Leave at least six hours between doses.
- Do not take more than three tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen) in 24 hours.

Children and adolescents:
Do not give this medicine to children under 12 years of age and adolescents weighing less than 40 kg.
Paduden Rapid Forte has a score line on one side. The score line is only to help you break the tablet if you have difficulty swallowing it whole.

Duration of treatment:
If this medicine is needed for more than 3 days in children and adolescents aged 12 to 18 years or if symptoms worsen, a doctor should be consulted.
In adults, a doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist or worsen or if this medicine is needed for more than 5 days to treat pain and more than 3 days to treat migraine or fever.

Composition:
- The active substance is ibuprofen lysine. Each film-coated tablet contains 684 mg ibuprofen lysine (equivalent to 400 mg ibuprofen).
- The other ingredients are: Tablet core: silicified microcrystalline cellulose, copovidone, sodium starch glycolate (type A), magnesium stearate. Tablet film (Opadry II White): hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), polydextrose, talc, maltodextrin, medium chain triglycerides.
