Indications:
Paracetamol Terapia is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain of various localizations: headache, toothache, muscle or joint pain, menstrual pain and symptomatic treatment of fever.

This medicine is only recommended for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over.

Paracetamol Terapia contains paracetamol, a para-aminophenol derivative with analgesic (pain relieving) and antipyretic (helps to lower body temperature in case of fever) effects.

Contraindications:
Do not use Paracetamol Terapia:
- if you are allergic to paracetamol or propacetamol hydrochloride (paracetamol precursor) or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;

Precautions:
Before using Paracetamol Terapia, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
If necessary, Paracetamol Terapia can be used during pregnancy. You should use the lowest possible dose that helps reduce pain and/or fever and for the shortest possible time.
Contact your doctor if the pain and/or fever does not subside or if you need to take the medicine more often.
At therapeutic doses, for a short period, the medicine can be taken during pregnancy, but administration will only be recommended after assessing the therapeutic benefit to the mother in relation to the potential risk to the foetus.
Paracetamol crosses the placenta and is excreted in breast milk. Caution is advised when taking paracetamol during breast-feeding.

Driving and using machines:
Paracetamol has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.

How to take:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

This pharmaceutical form is only for use in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over.

Adults:
The usual recommended daily dose for adults is 1 to 2 500 mg tablets, repeated if necessary after 4-6 hours, without exceeding 4 g of paracetamol per day (i.e. 8 tablets).

Maximum recommended daily dose:
- The maximum daily dose of paracetamol should not exceed 4 g.
- The maximum single dose (administered once) is 1 g (2 tablets).

Children and adolescents:
- Children under 12 years of age: do not give this medicine to children under 12 years of age.
- Adolescents aged 12 to 15 years and weighing 41 to 50 kg: the recommended dose is one tablet taken once, which can be repeated if necessary at intervals of 4 to 6 hours, without exceeding 6 tablets per day.
- Adolescents aged 16 to 18 years and weighing more than 50 kg: the same doses as for adults are recommended.

Composition:
- The active substance is paracetamol. Each tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol.
- The other ingredients are: maize starch, pregelatinised starch, povidone, sodium carboxymethyl starch, stearic acid.
