Composition:
Leaves of the rosemary plant - Rosmarinus Officinalis L.
Active principles:
Volatile oil in which camphene, borneol and camphor predominate, rosmarinic acid, flavones, triterpenes, saponins, tannin, vitamin C.
Properties:
Bitter-tonic, choleretic, cholagogue, antiseptic, diuretic, antirheumatic, adaptogen, nerve tonic, carminative (reduces intestinal gas), strong stimulant of blood circulation, healing, aromatic.
Recommendations:
Internal: abdominal colic, dyspepsia, bloating and gastrointestinal disorders, indigestion, anorexia, liver and kidney disorders, rheumatism, asthenia, physical and intellectual overwork, toning the body.
External: rheumatism, sprains, joint swelling, comforting the body.
Administration:
Internal: infusion - pour 250 ml of boiling water over a teaspoon of the plant. Cover the pot and let it rest for 10-15 minutes, then strain. Drink 2-3 cups of tea a day, before main meals.
External: prepare a decoction of a tablespoon of the plant in 250 ml of water. Boil for 2-3 minutes. Cover the pot and let it rest for 10-15 minutes, then strain. Place compresses with the decoction over the affected areas.
Contraindications:
Not recommended for pregnant women. Internally, in large quantities (over 15 grams per day) rosemary is toxic, producing gastroenteritis and nephritis. This product is a food supplement. Food supplements do not replace a varied and balanced diet. Do not leave it within the reach and sight of small children.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
